The Novel Edit

Dracula was a book character made by Bram Stoker. In the book a man named Jonathan Harker was assigned to see a Count Dracula, in Transylvania, who wanted to buy some property in London. He is then taken prisoner by Dracula and finds out who he really is. A Vampire! He then escapes from Dracula's castle. Later when he goes home to London, Dracula comes too. He turns Jonathan's fiancée Mina's best friend Lucy into a blood sucking vampire! They call for the help of a vampire hunter named Abraham Van Helsing. He tries to help Lucy by taking out the vampire blood and putting in human blood, but there is no use. They are forced to kill Lucy. Later Dracula bites Mina but doesn't drink her blood so she is not a vampire but still under his spell. Jonathan knows the only way to save Mina, is to kill Dracula.

About Dracula Edit

Count Dracula was based on Vlad Dracula aka "Vlad the Impaler", a 15th Century ruler of what is now Romania. In the story it does not give an exact date of his birth. I have done a little research and I believe Dracula was born in the year 1431 and died in 1897, simply because the real life Dracula was born in 1431 and the novel, in which Dracula dies, was published in 1897. Of course this is only an estimate.

Dracula had many powers, such as having the ability to transform into a bat, a wolf, or mist.

Death Edit

Dracula was killed in many different books and movies in many different ways. In the original novel a stake is driven through his cold dark heart. In The Horror of Dracula sunlight was the culprit.
